Introduction
We are an eight bedroom guest house providing short stay bed and breakfast accommodation. The property has four storeys and all guest rooms are on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors. We do not have any ground floor guest rooms. The property is a Victorian town house with no lifts and only staircases between floors.
Pre-Arrival
Prior to booking we are happy to provide any information regarding the suitability of Grange Lodge.
Arrival & Car Parking Facilities
We can provide guest permits on arrival for those guests who travel by car. Parking is on street anywhere on Bootham Crescent.
Main Entrance and Reception Area
Short walk from front gate to front door with one step up to porch. Natural light with additional artifical light.
Public Areas - Hall, Stairs, Landing, Corridors etc
There are no lifts or escalators in the building to the age of the property. All stairs, hallways and landings are carpeted and stairs all have handrails.
Public Areas - Sitting room, lounges, lobbies etc
All rooms are accessible by stairs only and are on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors. The only public room on the ground floor is the breakfast room.
Parking
We can provide parking permits for guests at no extra charge. Parking is on street and guests can park on Bootham Crescent.
Bedrooms & Sleeping Areas
We offer one single, one twin, four double and two triple/flexible rooms.
Bathroom, Shower-room & WC [Ensuite or Shared]
All our bedrooms have en-suite shower facilities. One room also has a bath.
